The Market Place

The key to our dairy department is freshness.  In a world where expiration dates run your life, items must be rotated to the freshest dates. That is exactly what we do!  We get in fresh milk through the week - along with loads of cheese, yogurt, and more!  We're proud of the partnerships we have with local vendors like Farm Fresh Dairy, and we are happy to carry specialty products, like milk in the glass bottle.  But most of all, we're pleased to have employees that put so much work and effort into our dairy department.

 

A few years ago, Eric Struebig took over as manager of our dairy.  He brought with him 17 years of grocery experience, and an attitude to please the customer.  Eric does his best to balance all aspects of the dairy department.  He finds just the right number of gallons of milk to order, without wasting any of this time-sensitive product. This is not so easy! There is emergency weather, ordering in advance, and other issues that have to be considered and planned for.  "I try to keep the milk as fresh as possible by trying to order the right amount.  We keep rotating fresh milk constantly." 

Eric says he loves doing yard work.  "Our yard looks like a golf course."  He also enjoys sporting events and concerts and spending time with family.

 

Farm Fresh products.  "I love working with Farm Fresh."  Also, our expanded cheese section includes some great products.  There's a lot of variety.
